First post! and review of Everlasting by Angie Frazier

HI Everyone!
(though I doubt anyone will ever read this!)
This is my first post on my book review blog. On this blog I will mostly review young adult books but I will occasionally review some middle grade novels. I will also try to keep you updated on book releases and tell you about up coming books! And with out any further ado lets get started reviewing!

Title: Everlasting

Author: Angie Frazier

Review: I first found Everlasting on Goodreads and could not wait till it came out on June 1 of this year. And when it did come out I got it right away.
Everlasting is a historical fiction novel about 17 year-old Camille Rowen. Camille has always stayed with her father on his trading company ships. But that is all threatened when Camille is engaged to a man she doesn't even love. On Camille's last trip with her father before her marriage things go terribly wrong. The ship is caught in a storm and sinks. The only survivors are Camille and her friend and possible love interest, Oscar, a sailor. Camille is heartbroken over her father's death and wants to find a magical stone that will bring her father back to life. Together Oscar and Camille travel to Australia on the greatest and the most dangerous adventure of their lives.

Everlasting has to be one of the best books that I have ever read. There is both historical fiction and fantasy making it absolutely delectable! The romance is amazing and so is the adventure. I can not seem to say enough good things about this remarkable debut. I would recommend this for just about everyone. Such a great book!

Hope you enjoyed my review, look for Everlasting's sequel sometime next year!

Coming up: a review of Shadow Hills by Anastasia Hopcus and some book news!
