Follow Friday (33)

Hi! Happy Friday to all!

Follow Friday is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee's View!

This week's question is:
Have you ever wanted a villain to win at the end of a story? If so, which one?
Nope....I always, always want the good guy to win. Or girl! I can't ever think of any book I've read where I felt the "villain" should win!

What about you? Are you a villain lover??

Follow Friday (32)

Hi! Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read!

This week's question is:
If you could change the ending of any book (or series), which book would you choose? Why and to what?
Wow! That's a hard one. I don't have way too many books I'd like to change but I'd love to change the ending of Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. Yes, it was awesome but it made me so sad. Sad stuff in books ain't good. And no I usually don't say ain't. It was for the purpose of this response. Only for this response!

Stop by and comment!

Follow Friday (31)

Hi! And Happy Follow Friday. This feature is hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee's View!

This week's question is:
In some books like the Sookie Stackhouse series the paranormal creature in question "comes out of the closet" and makes itself known to the world. Which mythical creature do you wish this would happen with in real life?

Hmmmm, maybe people like Clare in Clarity by Kim Harrington. Or in other books where people have the abilities to solve crimes with their talents. Because that rocks.

That's it for me! What about you??

Hi! And Happy Follow Friday!

This week's question is:
If you could write yourself a part in a book, what book would it be and what role would you play in that book?
This is sort of weird but I'd love to be in a road trip book. Think Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson. I'd just be that girl with that hot guy driving across the country!! It would be tons of fun.

Hi and Happy Follow Friday!
Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read!

This week's question is:
How has your reading habits changed since you were a teen? or If you are still a teen what new genres are you in love with currently?
Since I'm still a teen I'll answer the second one. I'm in love with Dystopian, I cannot get enough! I like all the sci-fi books coming out!

Follow Friday (28)

Hi!
And Happy Follow Friday! Hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read!

This week's question is:
Talk about the book that most changed or influenced your life (was it a book that turned you from an average to avid reader, did it help you deal with a particularly difficult situation, does it bring you comfort every time you read it?).
I really don't have "that" book in my life. But the book that changed me to an avid reader was Everlasting by Angie Frazier. I'd just discovered Goodreads and was scoping out books, discovering new ones to devour everyday. It really made me want to read!

What about you?

Hi!
Happy Follow Friday. This is hosted by Parajunkee's View and now Alison Can Read!

This week's question is:
Let's step away from books for a second and get personal. What T-Shirt slogan best describes you?
For a silly one:
I do love my sleep, it is one of life's greatest pleasures. Ah, not really I'd rather be in......

LOVE the Red Sox and Boston!

What about you?

Follow Friday (26)

Hi!
Happy Follow Friday everyone!

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View!

This week's question is:
Name 3 authors that you would love to sit down and spend an hour or a meal with just talking about either their books or get advice on writing from?
I would pick Angie Frazier, Stephanie Perkins and Rachel Hawkins. (I'd pick Kimberly Derting too but that would be four! Plus I've gone to a signing of hers!) I just love all these authors and it would be so cool to meet them.

How about you?

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View! HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

This week's question is:
What do I do when I am not reading?
I go to school...does that count!? Anyway, I go to the pool a lot, work out a ton, watch awesome crime dramas, have fun with my family and friends. I do homework. Yes, nerd extraordinaire speaking! I'm actually not too boring!

What about you??

This week's question is:
Let's step away from besties...What is the worst book that you've ever read and actually finished?
I'd have to say Nightlight by Harvard Lampoon. It was awful but I finished it and I'm so glad that I didn't spend actual money on it. Oh and it was a parody of Twilight and it was not funny. Now the movie, Vampires Suck was a different story!

Hello!
Happy Friday! Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View!

This week's question is:
ACK! Your favorite book/movie character (example Hermione Granger played by the Emma chick) just walked into the room! Who is it and what would be your first reaction? You get extra points if you include visual stimulation.
Um, I'm having a hard time with this one! I'd have to say that I really don't know. At all. Now I feel like an idiot! If I think of anything I'll come back and edit this.

This week's question is:
In light of the Summer Solstice. Also known as Midsummer...let's talk about fairies. What is your favorite fairy tale or story that revolves around the fae?
I think this is going to be the most common answer but I just finished reading The Iron King by Julie Kagawa on Monday and I'M IN LOVE!

I'm reading the rest of the series next month!

How about you!?

HI!
Happy Follow Friday. I'm not sure why I didn't do this last week, just didn't feel like it!

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View!

This week's question is:
Genre Wars! What's your favorite genre and which book in that genre made it your favorite?
I have a lot of favorite genres but my absolute favorite is Mystery! (I do like Dystopian but Mystery wins!)
And my favorite book, well, that'd be The Agency Series by Y.S. Lee. I LOVE them! I don't think many people have read them either. I would do The Body Finder but that's paranormal...but I still love it!

Follow Friday (20)

Hi!
It's Friday! I'm enjoying my first Friday of freedom and I thought I'd get on early and do a Follow Friday!

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View!

This week's question is:
What are you doing to prepare for an upcoming zombie apocalypse and/or the return of Mel Gibson to the silver screen? (Both of which could be terrifying.)
First of all, I didn't know that the zombie apocalypse was coming so soon! Was I the only one left in the dark about this? I guess I better start preparing. Maybe building a fort out of books, but then the books might get damaged...! Stinking zombies. I could try and dress up like a zombie and walk around all creepy like, then maybe they wouldn't know who I was...a human! And I would never go see Mel Gibson, I was scared for life when I saw the Patriot.

What about you guys??

Follow Friday (19)

Hi Guys! Happy Friday!

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View!

This week's question is:
How many books do you read in a week? And in what format do you read them, or listen to them?
About 1 or 2....yeah that's pretty pitiful. I get all my reading done on the weekend. I usually have 1 hard copy and then a digital galley. But it's almost summer so that number will go up drastically!

This is not a part of follow friday, but since some people will read this, I might as well ask:
Whenever I try to get books on Adobe Digital Editions, (either from the library, Net galley or Galley Grab) they won't download. I get the message:
Error getting license
Server communication problem: E_ADEPT_IO
Has anyone ever got this message before. I can't seem to fix it. I'm not a technical person. And from what I've read, it has something to do with the firewall...???! HELP PLEASE!

Follow Friday (18)

HI!
It's Friday! And there was no school, for my grade today! For reasons I might explain tomorrow! But I thought I'd get this done before I got too busy.

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View!

This week's question is:

It's circle time. Time for us to open up and share. Can you tell us FIVE quirky habits or things about you? We all have them...
I don't feel like I have really quirky habits....but I probably do!
  1. I'm going to try and stay away from books on this one but this one really has to do with blogging! I write most of my reviews on my iPod. It goes sooo much quicker. I wish Blogger had an app for the App Store!
  2. I HATE fast food. I can count the times I've been to McDonald's on one hand. Eating in is my favorite.
  3. I have to have my room somewhat clean. If things start to get bad, I have a panic attack. Seriously.
  4. I laugh weird. Really, really weird. Whenever I laugh people looks, it never ever fails. But then again, people like it because it makes them laugh!
  5. I LOVE making up nicknames for people. I mean I never call them to that to their face! They aren't mean though. I love it...! And making up silly lyrics to songs.
What about you??

Follow Friday (17)

HI!
IT'S FRIDAY! This week has been super long and I have been, oh so, tired. And it is finally Friday.

Blogger wasn't working yesterday, causing some screwy things on the blog, like yesterday's post to vanish...!

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View!

This week's question is:

The Blogger Apocalypse made me a little emotional. What is the most emotional scene in a book that you have read lately?

I'd have to agree with Parajunkee...Delirium by Lauren Oliver had me sobbing. I was so sad, words cannot begin to express how sad I was at the end. And The Last Song made me emotional but that was a long time ago!

What about you??

This week's question is:

Circle time! Time to share. What character in a book would you most like to be, what character in a book would you most like to date?
That's a hard question!! But good. It's a tie from being Sophie from Hex Hall and dating Archer, swoon. OR Violet from The Body Finder and dating Jay. I can't pick!! Probably Archer...hehe!
